We have a few random stretch goals we can add in between the set list, so we'll add this one at £52,500.

With a week to go we should start to see an increase in pledges. You guys can help to unlock more stretch goals by getting the word out there and sharing our Facebook posts.

New Hero character on it's way tomorrow - The Dwarf fighter
about 5 years ago – Thu, Mar 07, 2019 at 06:22:32 PM

Our sculptor Alfonso has nearly finished the last Hero character sculpt which should be with us tomorrow. He loves to sculpt Dwarves, so I think he should be something special.

So that now means he can make a start on the sculpts for the main Black Hallows game. One of the first will be Tayem (pic below). For those of you that missed our posts/video on the photo shoot we did late last year, we had 2 models which we dressed in costume. The reason was to get realistic poses for our miniatures. We were quite lucky with Charlotte (below), who was a competition archer so choice of weapons was easy. We'll keep you updated as we start sculpts for the game.

Another character - Arturo the Giant Grizzly Bear!
about 5 years ago – Mon, Mar 04, 2019 at 09:53:41 PM

Arturo the giant grizzly is owned by the Nikolai Magnus the merchant. Arturo is as as keen on getting his paws on the butcher's meat as his owner is on other people's money! The only difference is that the town guard are marginally less afraid of the bear. So this time when Arturo decided he was in the mood for some steak, the guard were close by and they managed to get him collared, so now he's chained up in the market square, awaiting his master to fix or bribe the right person for his release.

Arturo & the post will be a mix of resin & metal, supplied on a 60mm x 38mm base. - £10

If we get enough requests, we will also consider freeing Arturo from his post and supplying a separate model, which could be really cool for your RPG campaign.

Free Stretch Goal unlocked - The Heavy Horse
about 5 years ago – Wed, Feb 27, 2019 at 02:28:53 PM

The next nearest town is a day and a half's ride from Hallow's Creek, so most travelers passing through rest for a night and continue in the daylight. It's a chance for the horses to rest and be checked by the Blacksmith.  Plus, no one really wants to travel through the forest at night if they don't have to.

We will release more horses as add-ons later today.

Black Hallows - Cradle of Darkness - The novel
about 5 years ago – Wed, Feb 27, 2019 at 02:27:48 PM

We have just added a short video to the main campaign page.

The World of the Black Hallows is expanding all the time. Not only are there detailed miniatures, buildings and landscape features available, but this campaign now offers a full length novel release in multiple formats.

While delighting over the townsfolk figurines, perhaps you wondered where these intriguing characters lived? Maybe you speculated about their history or the nature of the Black Hallows themselves?  In the novel, Black Hallows: Cradle of Darkness, these and many other secrets will be revealed.

The authors have begun outlining the storyline already, taking care to craft the tale so it dovetails seamlessly with the skirmish game and RPG elements planned.

So, whether you prefer digital ebook, physical paperback or audiobook, a world of epic conflict and endearing characters awaits. What’s more, we’re thrilled to announce a NEW BONUS. Back the signed paperback and ebook package, and we’ll throw in the building RPG scenarios for free!

We’ll be posting updates on how the book is progressing later on in the campaign. But in the meantime, as the Boar’s Head tavern keeper, Petter, would say: ‘May your path be smooth and your stomach warmed with fine ale!’
